Australian-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Ben Abraham has toured with Emmylou Harris and Ben Platt, and can boast songwriting duties for Celeste, Sara Bareillas, and Kesha.

Abraham’s latest single ‘In Your Eyes’ – from his upcoming sophomore album, released on Atlantic Records – is a powerful pop ballad about a relationship that has run its course. Against a minimalist but polished production, Abraham guides the listener with his plaintive falsetto vocals to a big, gospelised climax.

He says: “It’s about that point when the relationship is done and you’re trying so hard to hold onto love, it almost becomes like an act of violence. All you’re really doing is hurting yourself and hurting the other person, until you can gather the strength to say, ‘Enough. I’m done.’”
