In these uncertain, anxiety-ridden times, at least we can be grateful for the soothing soul music coming our way.

Based out of San Diego, Thee Sacred Souls is the union of drummer Alex Garcia, bassist Sal Salmano, and vocalist Josh Lane. Approached by Daptone Records‘ co-founder Bosco Mann after their first ever club show, the group were swiftly signed to Daptone‘s new imprint, Penrose Records.

Their debut release ‘Can I Call You Rose’ is a sweetly modest mid-tempo with beautiful brassy textures.
