Celebrating its thirtieth anniversary, the EFG London Jazz Festival will run from 11-20th November across various London venues. Check out our suggested shows below!


Jazz Voice, Southbank Centre – 11th November (tickets)

This gala kicks off the London Jazz Festival and celebrates the power of the human voice. Backed by Guy Barker and the EFG London Jazz Festival Orchestra, a diverse roster of soloists will perform in the gorgeous Royal Festival Hall. The line-up this year includes musical theatre star Marisha Wallace, the emergent Mica Miller, Queen of Lovers Rock Carroll Thompson, and Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling.

Imaani & Special Guest Joy Rose, 606 Club – 11th November (tickets)

After finishing in second place in Eurovision 1998, Imaani went on to forge a reputation as one of the UK’s premier soul singers, touring and recording with acid jazzers Incognito. Performing in the intimate 606 Club in West London, Imaani will be joined by fellow Incognito singer Joy Rose.

Staples Jr Singers, Jazz Cafe – 12th November (tickets)

Named after their musical idols, the Staple singers, the Staples Jr. Singers are three siblings from Mississippi who will be throwing down some southern soul and gospel at the Jazz Cafe in Camden, North London.

For the Love of Ella Featuring Vimala Rowe, Jazz Cafe Posk – 20th November (tickets)

The exquisite Vimala Rowe, perhaps best known for her partnership with guitarist John Etheridge, will be paying homage to the incomparable Ella Fitzgerald at Jazz Cafe Posk in West London.
