This festive season, PizzaExpress Live will be helping people into the Christmas spirit with a spectacular line-up of shows throughout December. Topping off the month all three London venues will host a New Year’s Eve celebration, the perfect choice for those looking to swap the hustle and bustle of busy London streets for a special and intimate evening enjoying live music with a three-course meal and glass of fizz.

Acoustic Alchemy

A highlight of the festive line-up is Acoustic Alchemy. Born in the UK but forged in the USA, they have been selling out December shows in the PizzaExpress Soho Jazz Club for over two decades, performing legendary sets while customers enjoy an iconic PizzaExpress pizza and glass of Peroni. The band have been nominated for three Grammy’s and are at the forefront of the contemporary jazz scene. With 11 shows across one week, they are back to perform their unique blend of jazz, funk, reggae, and blues from 16 – 23 December with two shows each night. Later in the season, firmly established as one of the best soul, blues, funk, and rock bands around, as well as one of the best cures for the post-Christmas blues, G*Funk are on the Soho Jazz Club stage between 27 – 30 December. G*Funk is made up from members of Acoustic Alchemy and are guaranteed to get you in the party mood in the run up to the New Year.

New Year’s Celebrations

Wrapping up the season there’s no better way to bring in the New Year than with live music and a meal at PizzaExpress Live, with amazing shows at each of the London venues customers can grab a ticket, a three-course meal, and a glass of bubbly all for just £95! The SoulTrippers take to The Pheasantry stage for their NYE party for the sixth year, expect a night of music from the 70s and beyond with the Sounds of Philadelphia, Motown, Soul and disco with these amazing vocalists and musicians. Holborn welcomes Motown Live Revue to bring in 2023 in style. Featuring the best in classic funk, rhythm & blues, and soul from one of the most famous record labels in history, Motown, this night is guaranteed to get you dancing all night long. Finally, Ray Gelato and his world class band The Giants will be performing a show that never fails to get a crowd on their feet at the Soho Jazz Club. With swing, jazz, and R&B this will be an evening of the highest level of musicianship and great energy; a truly exciting evening with one of the finest in the business.
