Ross’ last studio project, 2018’s All For One, included heartfelt originals and reinventions of jazz, blues, and gospel deep-cuts. His latest single, ‘Tell Me You Love Me’, might be his strongest piece of original songwriting yet. Narrating a disintegrating relationship over a sparse and carefully produced arrangement, Ross lowers his guard with captivating results.
